Here is the scenario: I am going to Boulder at the end of the month for 4 days. Planned activities include: A session at the Denver Temple, fly fishing lesson and guided tour (full day), Broncos v Bears game (go Bears!).
One night there are 2 activities that sound kind of interesting, so I pose the question to you: Would you rather
1) go see a band you have never seen or heard of? (Delta Spirit, an indie rock sound)
b) go to a drag show? (as in men in women’s clothing, sounds interesting right?)
or last) do nothing and sit by the pool with a good book?
AND WHY? Alright, discuss…

I'd probably pick C)because I feel like I always am going on vacations that I come home more stressed and tired then when I left on vactation to relax from being stressed and tired... but that's just me.. My second choice would be B cause that's awesome.
I'm for sitting by the pool with a good book. Why? I'm not too into bands I've never heard of and the other doesn't sound like that much fun either. Besides...it's so nice to just sit there and enjoy a good book. :^)
I vote two snaps up for the drag show.
For me, it would depend on what else I have going on that day... if I were really busy, I might want to just sit by the pool. (Let's be honest, I like to do that when I'm not on vacation too.) Of the 1 and b options, I am intruiged by the drag show. If you go, you'll have to tell us about it!
I would go with B or last. I think a drag show would be hilarious!! I would enjoy it so so much! But, if you've been busy and running around your whole vacation, I'd take an evening to myself and a good book. (I'm reading "The Hunger Games" right now. Highly recommended.) Those are my choices. Oh yeah, I miss you, too!! :)
I'd go for the book. Of course, this is coming from someone with three kids and hardly a moment of silence. That would be my reason why. I crave the silence!
My vote: anything adventurous but safe. Know what I mean?
I choose the drag show. I might get fashion tips.
Not for me.
Second would be a good book by the pool. Relaxing is awesome.
My first choice would be the book. I don't get to relax and read as often as I'd like. Second would be the music. I see guys in drag too often, I guess. Did you see Jason in South Pacific? Really.... :)
I would chose to go hear a band I've never heard before. While I have to admit the drag show would be highly entertaining, I see enough of that on TV and in the movies, and hey I live in Seattle. I think you can squeeze pool time in and still go hear the band. And you have all that time on the airplane to read you book.
And if you think about it, if you liked the band, it could continue to be a part of your life. If you didn't like it you would have the memory of that awful indie band you heard in Boulder.
