MMRF Race for the Cure

In 2008 the reality of cancer hit my family hard when my sweet mother, Gloria, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. This is a cancer that currently has no cure. It is treatable, but incurable. As a result Mom has had 2 stem cell transplants which have kept her in the hospital for a month at a time. She is 5 inches shorter than she used to be. This cancer will, more than likely, take her life one day. In order to find a cure the multiple myeloma research foundation has to raise funds for research. The efforts of many to raise funds will hopefully ensure a future cure for this disease.

To help with this cause my family will be running in a marathon at the end of 2013 where we will be raising funds to go directly to the research foundation. Please visit my page to help me reach my goal of $1,500 for this cause.
